Story
About Me
I am Ikhee Lee, a scholar and innovator driven by a singular mission: exploring the powerful connections found at the boundaries of economics, humanities, and music. My worldview is built upon a unique "dual lens," sharpened by rigorous economic and historical analysis, and a deep, sustained commitment to the arts.
My work centers on building bridges and translating vision into tangible impact:
-
Academic Exploration & Outreach: My commitment to deep, independent inquiry is demonstrated by two Concord Review-level history research submissions, utilizing primary source archival data. I further analyze global economic phenomena and share my insights on contemporary markets through the ikheenomics blog. This scholarship forms the foundation of my book, The Dual Lens: A Youthful Insight into Korea's Economic Engine.
-
Innovation & The Arts: With ten years of viola study, I possess a profound understanding of harmony, structure, and musical theory. I leverage this artistic background to explore technical applications for creative enrichment. This includes my involvement in projects ToneFine AI-based Optical Music Recognition (OMR) system, where I seek innovative ways to use technology to optimize music learning and artistic expression.
-
Social Service: I founded FeelHarmoniker, a non-profit initiative dedicated to providing equitable music education through innovative, interactive platforms. This project is a practical application of my economic understanding and design thinking, focused on addressing real-world social challenges.
